A Growing History

Haircuts For Peanuts was founded in 2001 with a mission to make haircuts easy, comfortable and fun for parents and children. Since its humble beginning with just one room, one chair and one employee, the business has grown extensively over the past 10 years, becoming a mainstay for children’s haircuts with a style of service that is unmatched in the Greater Rochester Area.

In July 2009, Haircuts For Peanuts once again upgraded its facility and offerings, moving from its original location in the village of Fairport to its current location in Perinton Square Mall.

In April 2011, Haircuts For Peanuts announced another expansion, acquiring additional space in the mall and launching Peanut Parties, a place for children to host themed birthday and special occasion parties for friends and family.
